We absolutely love our new home. Will Steed Homes is a Highly Professional Veteran Owned, Christian organization displaying honesty, integrity, and superior customer support throughout the entire project from start to finish including the warranty period process. His Administrative Team, Superintendent, Quality Assurance/Detail Representative, and Warranty Manager coordinate and keep the client informed of all aspects of the project in a timely manner. Our home was built during 2023 and was completed ahead of schedule even given the SCM issues during the more recent shortages of manpower and materials due to the COVID pandemic. The Project total costs were reasonable given what we wanted and working with Will’s Team to achieve cost savings even during this high inflationary period.
Will’s organization has been the leading builder in the Granbury, TX area for the past 7 years and has been experienced in the building trade for 3 decades plus. He utilizes seasoned veterans in his organization along with subcontractors that have supported him over the years. Will does not utilize ad hoc teams of subcontractors which may pose risks for completing the build project and achieving fit, form and function. Will lays out the entire project taking the client through each step of the building process from selecting a designer (in our case Grand Home Designs – Benbrook, TX) to the use of a Co-Construct application which enables the client to see each phase of the build process and select materiel, for framing, electrical, plumbing, roofing, flooring, carpeting, solar, foundation, cement, as well as kitchen appliances to name a few. This includes the ability to see all costs by phase for the project so that both the client and builder agree with what is going to be purchased to build the home.
Will’s Team also provides excellent recommendations on materials to help the client save costs, if they so desire. (Example: consider Luxury Vinyl Plank or Ceramic Tile versus Wood Flooring). Another example would be considering installing solar panels generating solar power to assist in reducing electrical utility costs. Other finishing products for the home such as landscaping and fencing among others are left to the client to seek out a direct subcontractor saving them additional profit costs under the building project.
Will’s Team built a grand retirement home for us that came in under budget to our complete surprise.
